YOUNG AND CAREFREE

Sometimes I wonder about my life
Am I letting it pass me by
Constantly thinking about daily strife
Wasting my time wondering why

I want to be able
To spend time with my friends
To not be this stable
To drift around the bends

I spend to much time pondering
If this one or that one cares
I want to stop wondering
To do things no one dares

I want to make friends
With strangers on the streets
Before my will bends
And I hide beneath fear’s sheets

Risk it in the cold
Brave it in the heat
Let go of the hold
My shoes have on my feet

I’ll run like the wind
And laugh with the sea
Won’t see an end
Live young and carefree

Behind This Piece…

Sharing Is Caring
