Hello Little Bird

Hello, little bird, with your song so sweet

How beautiful you shine with summer`s heat

You words touch my ear, your melody clear

Sing, sing even louder, you raise my care

Come near, little dove, there`s strength in your wings

Your feathers hold dignity, You`ll draw kings

Clothed in gold, in silver, refined by fire

Within your beauty lies the King`s desire

Come closer, my love, come hear of your worth

Your heart so pure, not of gold, but of earth;

Not hard, but soft; supportive of growth,

Of life in abundance, where death you loath

Though shattered before, you`ve risen in truth

Despite being broken, hurt in your youth

I`ll cover your pain, make sure you have none

I`ll draw you closer, and we can be once

I`ll take you away; away from these beasts

That look to destroy, devour, and seduce

In the cleft of the rock, I`ll hide you away,

Where ever by your side, I`m sure to stay.

Come here, little friend. Come where it is still

Hear the melody of love. Drink your fill.

Pour out this tune, mighty as a fountain.

I will sing with you. To you I`ll be known.
