There are many types of persecution
As some people may have seen
There is no absolution
To the average and the mean
Some use against us their fists
Some abuse us using their voices
Some shame us with our tears and mists
Some laugh at our mistaken choices
The one most commonly used
Is the persecution of fear
Fear of falsely being accused
Or that no one will hear
He who perseveres, though, knows
That he can’t dwell on this mess
For there is a blessing on those
Who are persecuted for righteousness
